In this task, I have learnt to analyse for audience demographic. For example, I had to analyse my own work for elements that can relate to specific audience demographics and apply those elements in order to chose my audience. In my film, there are schools shown as well as nagging parents and relationships. These all have connotations with the coming of age genre so I have classed my film as coming of age and I have backed up that I feel like my audience should be the teenage audience. Alternatively, I have also found out that these connotations could also relate to the audience of parents who have teenage children as they can relate to some of the elements pop the films such as teenagers coming home late and not obeying their set rules.
