Evaluation Task 5 - How did you attract/address your target audience?
Learning Comment: In this evaluation, I have realised the reasons for the things I did in my final project in relation to my target audience demographic.
Evaluation Task 6 - what have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Learners comment: In this task, I have recapped and evaluated all the skills in technologies which I have learnt since starting the project. The skills which i have talked about have been very useful tools in the media tasks and they will be useful for future reference.

Evaluation Task 2 - How does your media product represent particular social groups?
How does your media product represent particular social groups? - Created with Haiku Deck, presentation software that inspires
Learners Comment: In this evaluation task, I have learnt things about my own media product that I did't even realise I did! for example, I seemed to have portray the teenager as anxious and paranoid which potentially could directly reflect real world issues going on at the moment such as the rise in mental health issues linked with this age group. I have also realised that most of the things - such as location and props - directly represent how tech savvy and active the youth culture have become in this modern world. I feel like my media product has made a big mirror image on the teenage genre and has shown them to be the stereotype that they are.

Final Cut
Final Cut
This is the final product to my opening sequence to Access Code. I have tried to implement all aspects of my pre-production such as the story board and the shot list. For example, much of the scenes directly replicate some of the scenes which I thought up like the corridor scene where Josh was walking down with his hand on his head. However, much of the story board had to be cut out. For instance, I didn't include a nurse in the end which was originally going to have some dialogue in the scene where Josh has just awoken.
What went well for me was the production. During filming and directing, I didn't have a lot of problems. I often got a lot of the scenes which I needed only after a couple of takes. The location I used was also good as I as thankfully was able to use the medical room at my secondary school as well as a corridor there. This was useful in my opening as it acted as good mise-en-scene as i wanted to create the effect of paranoia. Another thing which went well is my camera work. I was especially happy with the way I have positioned the protagonist on screen. In a lot of the scenes, I have used close ups which would express the characters facial expression. I have tried to show that the character is often crazy and loosing his mind.
What didn't go so well would be lots of aspects within the production. For example, at about 1:47, the character very oddly jumps from screeching to getting up and leaving the room. The jump in this has proven to show a strange cut in continuity which needs to be improved. Also, on the last scene, I pan from the door onto the virtual reality headset to try to create a sense of foreboding on the headset. Howeiver, I have cut the scene to short and it ends on a very abrupt halt which is the oppositee of what wanted to do.

Props
Props I will use in the film
Blood/Water bag: The water bag will be used to let the audience know that the character is in the hospital. This prop is a strong connotation of a hospital and the thriller genre as it is typically seen in thriller films. I will place this bag on a stand and have it attached to this persons arm to ensure people that something bad has happened
Virtual reality headset: This prop will play an important part in the opening sequence as it will act as an item that helps the audience to understand what is going on. This will be used when the character gets out of the hospital reality to come back into the real world.
Cups of tea, kettle etc: This will be used by the nurse as she will come in, make a cup of tea and offer the protagonist one.

Graphs: I may include a graph of some sort of graphs as it will make the hospital (medical room) look more official and productive.
Scissors, pliers, etc: Just like in any holy wood hospital, we always tend to see a table full of equipment. These equipment are often used to scare audiences and frighten them thinking the worst can happen. They are also made to put an impression on the main character of any film so this would coincide perfectly with my opening sequence.
